I just reciently move to Bendigo and have a 8mth old daughter, I am hoping to find a group of first time mums with young bubs who want to catch up and share experiences and let the little bubs play together.
Please Let me know if your a part of a group that has room for one more or if your looking to start a group smile

Hi I'm moving to Bendigo (Epsom) next week with my DS 8 months and my DD 2 years and would love to catch up with some other Mums!!

we are still trying to find a play group to go to. im in long gully. ive heard the eaglehawk group is good. i also have a friend with a 1 and 1/2 yo that will be joining a group with us. will let you know as we are hoping to find one soon.

Samantha do you know about Loddon Mallee Kids - support group and play group for premmie's. Playgoup is held at St Libs in Eaglehawk every second thursday. We also have a fun day this sunday for Pound the Pavement for Prems.

i have been on the phone this morning to get some info on playgroups.
here is one i have found
Tuesday form 10.30 there is a playgroup at "our place" 30 high st. by what was discussed over the phone this sounds like a brilliant playgroup. Rebecca is the lady that runs it.
Im going to attend it on tuesday and see how it is. youre welcome to come along. its free.

im still waiting to hear back from some others and will keep you updated.

i have made enquiries for the premmie play group and met some mums when the story was being done for the newspaper. i am unavailable most thursdays until next year, but will be attending as of next year hopefully smile

Sam thank you for chasing this up it sounds really good I'm moving up this weekend and next so If I'm in Bendigo Tuesday morning we will come along for a look other wise count us in next Tuesday!!! Is it all different age groups or just babies ? just thinking how my terror of a 2 yr old will go there.

from what i asked, there are activities for 3 and four year olds and toys for the little ones. there are 3 families that go on a regular basis and ages range from babies to 4 year olds. your little one should get along with my friends ds, they are only a couple of months apart. I will see you on Tuesday or the following week. good luck with the move too. smile

its high street in eaglehawk. I think if you just bring a snack for your kids, it should be all good.
