Hi Everyone,

I am a 23 year old Mum with an 8 month old daughter who is looking for some new friends that live in South Brisbane. Ive been living in Brisbane for about a year and a half but i havent had the chance to make any good friends and I really want my daughter to have more interaction with babies and other children. I am not looking for a big playgroup/mothers group i am just wanting to make friends around my own age with children around my daughters age.

Hi there..
I live in Waterford, which is right next to Bethania. I have lived around this general area my entire life. I have a 5 year old daughter who goes to Waterford State School which is only 3 minutes away. I think it's a wonderful school. I had her in a private school last year for pre-prep but could not afford to continue there. Was hesitant to change to the public system but She has excelled and i find no difference in the quality of education at this school.
There is a private primary school in Bethania called Bethania Lutheran which I have heard good things about too.
There is also another public school in Edens Landing (right next to Bethania too) called Edens Landing State School. Have heard bad things about it though.

Waterford State School is also opening a kindy as of next year too.
