did you birth at RBWH which midwifes did you have?

Anyone birth in the birth centre?

Hi i had my little one at rbwh. he was 27wks so emergancy c-section.
i cant remember my midwives name but he was under dr hollering.
they were all very great to me during it alll.

I had my DS2 there and could not fault them....I'll have my next child there too!

LOVED it and them and had an awesome birthing experience even though it didn't go to plan.

Im due in a week and a bit smile I have Ann Tanya and Jo and they are the loveliest ladies im very excited and feel very confident about the birth they are mentioned on quite a few forums so its nice to know my confidence is not misplaced laugh

Hi all mothers to be,

My name is Alicia and I am a UQ midwifery student. As part of my program I am required to follow 10 women through pregnancy, birth and early parenthood in a follow through program. I am currently looking for 4 wonderful women to help me help mothers to be by joining the program. As part of the program I will be required to:
*attend roughly 5 antenatal appointments (midwifery appointments/ obs appointments/ any other meeting with a health care professional)
*your birth
*visit you twice in hospital after your baby is born to see how you are going postnatally.

The aim of the followthrough program is to teach midwifery students about continuity of care, and so far I have had positive feedback from all of the women I have followed. Many of them have stated that having someone familiar at their birth has been quite comforting. Our role in your pregnancy will be that of a support person. I will not take over the roles of your health care team.

I am currently seeking women with an estimated due date between 24 April 2012 and June 6 2012.

I just had my second baby at the RBWH in the Birth Centre, I went through ten midwife care and it was fantastic, their is 6 midwifes that u may meet through your pre birth care. I had Julie and she was fantastic, and it is also nice to have your hubby/partner feel comfortable. It just makes u feel like ur at home.
