Good Daycare centres In the mount warren park/ Beenleigh area Rss

Hi just wondering if anyone has their kids in daycare around this area & your experiences? I have my son in a certain daycare & well im not happy, They havent done anything in particular, but they just seem lazy, & rude, or uneducated.
Apparently the other day my 3.5yo said he had a "cramp" & then fell of the playground & got a MASSIVE bruise, yet he doesn't know what a cramp is!
I am not informed of anything, I didnt even know their was a sign in sheet til 2 months after i had put him in, & since then it just seems the little things they do erk me.
My son keeps complaining about he gets bored, & no teachers listen to him, etc.
Do i just have mummy goggles on, or is there better out there, where i feel my son can be educated & have lots of fun interacting with new things. Because what they seem to do for him, i can do at home (apart for the socialisng part, but with playgroups that could be covered etc)

Thanks
Hi there,

I don't think it's mummy goggles that you have on. I think that some centres are just a little bit more 'relaxed' than others.

I'm in Beenleigh and I've just pulled my daughter out of the centre that she has been in for almost four years as the new staff were a little too relaxed for my liking. When I was looking for a new centre, I found the new one on Mt Warren Blvd (called The Boulevard) to be very good. The staff were lovely and very reassuring.

I've also heard some nice things about the ABC centres n the same road.

Good luck!!
hi if you have not found somewhere already - both the abc/goodstart centres are fantastic, my eldest attended the boulevard one since he was about 2 until he went to prep this year and have big behaviour issues - the staff are were really supportive and worked with doctors and us to help him, my toddler attends the other abc and has done so for 2 years now - great staff, really pleasent, friendly and caring.
goodluck - I know how hard it can be to find the right centre smile
