hi i live in hervey bay and i am so busy i dont get alot of time i feel the same way i have a 6mth old and a 19mth old have been going to playgroup to meet other mums, but not a lot of mums go perhaps we could meet up at playgroup in neils st at the bayside church its 9.30am every thursday morning would love to meet other mums

I'll come check it out. I'm a stay at home mum with a 10 month old so that keeps me occupied. Generally i wouldn't go near a church or playgroup but we'll see what it's like.
Forgive my ignorance... but what do people do at playgroup? O.o

hi ,no need to be sorry i also had no idea about playgroup but i knew i needed to get out i was in need of adult company and conversations as i am a single mum and my kids also needed other kids to play with i am also a stay at home mum, basically at play group the kids just have free play and do what they want too, some activites are organized like colouring, painting, sticker art its always different but its not a must its really relaxed its up to you and your child what you do. there is a story time and music also, and the mums and nans talk but like i said very relaxed and it at least gets us out of the house. would love to see you there if you dont like it at least you tried it,its up to you.

My name is Kim and I am 35. I moved to Hervey Bay in May 2011 with my husband and my 2 sons. I have yet to find some freinds to enjoy some quality adult time with while my sons play and meet new friends of their own.
I have 2 sons, Lachlan is 4 and Jonah is 2. My husband (Paul) has his owning Fencing business but is away from Monday to Friday. I currently work as a Casual Medical Receptionist on a Monday and Friday.
I live in Wondunna and granted I have awesome neighbours (I am very lucky) I would like to meet some new friends outside of the square. I have attended the Baptist Playgroup only a few times but have not as yet met some "friends". I have also joined Breath health Gym but would like to make some freinds who would love to meet at the park for a play (I especially like Alex Park, it's perfect for my young boys) or come over for a tea/coffee and a chat.

Am a little intimidated by churches but the park might be fun. I do sometimes go to The Pines, usually way down the end where the only baby swing is.
How has everyone else been?

hi i have not been on for awhile been really busy, that definately sounds like something we would love to do let me know and we will try and be there. my 20mth old loves the park at the moment.
