Bettina Modelling Agency

Has anyone here had any success with Bettina Modelling Agency with their little ones?? I have an interview coming up for my 2 year old son and would like to know if anyone has dealt with them in the past and if they are a reputable company or if I am just going to be wasting my time and money...look forward to hearing back from anyone who has come into contact with them at all.

i sent in an application for my daughter over a week ago, how long until they got back to you?
i know its quite a popular agency but thats all i know. sorry im not of much help.

Hi. i put my daughter who was 2 1/2 last year in last march and she hasnt had one job interview or tv commercials. I had to pay $400 up front so i think its a waste of money . they will say all these nice things about your child just to get your money. so in myopinion dont do it!

Hi there Amy, Did you end up hearing anything from them? I think they only take kids from 6 months so perhaps that's why it took a while for them to contact you!

I wanted to know if they give everybody who puts their kids forward an interview just so that they can get money from everybody, or do they pick and choose who they want to meet with?

Does anybody know?

yes i heard back, we have an interview on thursday, so it will be interesting to see if they accept her and if she gets any work.

Hey Amy, can you please let us know how the interview goes? Is it this Thursday? I want to know if they ask for the money up front... Just wonder if this is what they do to everybody just to get the money!

I sent some pics of my daughter across last week as well and we have a meeting set for Wednesday so I want to go in with as much info as I can.

hey bec,

i rung them and asked them if they want money upfront, they said you dont, they will decide if they accept your child and then you have to pay the money at a later date.
but yes the nterview is thursday the 6th, so i will let you know how it goes after.

when i rung, they did say to take a photo in with you of your child, they didnt tell me hat when they rung me to organise the interview, so incase you didnt know.

hey bec,

we went to he interview today. they asked me what her personality is like on a day to day basis and if she is attached to me, and isnt happy when im not around.

maddie is always smiling and she isnt attached to me at all really so i hve my fingers crossed.

the melbourne office will give me a call in a few days and let me know if she was accepted, then if she is we have a photo shoot and then have to pay 450 dollars. that covers a year with the agency and all photo shoots.

Thanks Amy, I'm glad all went well today! Did it take a long time? I don't actually know if I'll take my daughter. She ended up having her front top tooth taken out today so is toothless till around 6 years old...(she is 2 at the end of this month! I don't know if they will want her... he he! The docs at the hospital reckon she has a lot more going for her than her teeth... ha ha, but I don't know about the agency!

Let me know what they say in the next few days! It's nice that they didn't just say oh here give me your money and we'll see! Good luck! I hope it goes well!

Hi Amy, How did you go last week? Did you hear back from the Melbourne office yet? If so, what have you decided to do?

I just took Asha in to see them. They weren't fazed by her missing tooth! I guess we'll hear in a few days whether or not she will be invited to join? The lady said they only have 20-30 kids in each age bracket at any one time. She also said that they like a huge diversity of looks... my daughter looks exactly like the little girl in the HBF ad that is making a huge mess with her spagetti, and that girl is from Bettina! So... perhaps she won't get in because she looks too similar...! I'm not worried, doesn't bother me either way!

glad it went well for you, i havent heard back from them but i think im feeling the same as you, i dont really mind anymore, its so much money yet im sure it will be fun and its something we can do together as she grows older.

will let you know if they get back to me and what i decide to do.
