Private/Public Schools

Hello,

Tossing up whether I should be registering my bub for private or public school ? I went to public school myself but not in Perth so I'm a lost to how the system works.

Would love to hear your advice/experience.

i went to a private school and my husband went to public and we both turned out alright.

id just check out the school in the local area and decide based on them.

decide what you want out of your childs education. What do you want them to learn? What values are important to you? Once you know this, write them down and start looking for a school that suits.
There are more options then public or private. You might choose an independent school. Steiner, Montessori for example. http://www.ais.wa.edu.au/
Or you might decide homeschooling is for you. But first things first. What is important to your family. Only when you know what you want out of an education, can you then start the search for schools that suit.
