Any mums in port hedland

Hi all

I was just wondering and wanting to here form any mums that live in port or south hedland.
My Dh may be getting a job up there and just wanted to know whats its like.
I hear there are alot of families so just wanted to know do you guys have playgroups and social gatherings.
We are flying up for the day in 2 weeks to check things out.

Any feed back would be great

I live 4 hours away from Port Hedland, but my Parents live there so I make trips out there often. Its hot, really bloody hot. There are lots of families up there. You will either love it or hate it. It does have KMart coles and so on. The boat club is a really nice cheap family night out. People are really friendly and the local hospital is OK. Ummmm thats all I can think of right now LOL
