Hi I am considering a move to mandurah or surrounding sububrs eg, Silver sands, Halls head, Falcon. And I was afetr some information, Is there any catholic schools including Kindy.And are there many day care centres around.

I have been there a few times as I had family living there, but they are no longer there so I can't ask them.

Also I have had a look at rentals and they same quite cheap, has the rental price rised recently or for those that rent do you think the prices will go up soon. This is one of the reasons i'll be moving there due to the rental market in Peth being quite exspensive and hard to get a rental.

I've lived in Mandurah almost my whole life. I lived near Silver Sands for most of it and have been in Greenfields for the past 3.5 years.

Catholic schools, look at Mandurah Catholic College. Its in Coodanup (not a flash area to live) but its a really really good school and reasonably priced.

The average rent is about $270 these days, depends what suburb you want to look at though

Greenfields, coodanup and central mandurah are the cheaper areas (really really wouldnt recommend coodanup though)

Then you have silver sands, san remo, watersun, halls head etc are the more pricey areas because they are next to the beach.

Not sure if they'll go back up, theres a chance with the rise in interest rates but to be honest, i dont think the rent prices ever dropped when the house prices did lol
