Well I am an older mum with kids (God I just turned 40) that range from teenage down to five months old. DH does FIFO and all my girlfriends have older kids and are still working, I stopped work f/t when I had DD four years ago. Would love to meet any other mums in same situation. I tried Playgroups years ago, but found them quite hard to get to know people as they all knew each other well and being a newbie you sort of got left out. Gave up in the end and now I feel like a bit of a hermit. It is a lonely life with FIFO and not a lot of people understand, you live like a single mum most of the time, and cant always catch up with working friends when they are free at night etc. There are a lot of groups for younger and first time mums but not much for us more mature yummy mummies gasp)
