Hi there

My hubby has just got a new job in Derby and we are relocating there just after xmas, I have never been there before nor do i know anyone or anything? I have two gorgeous boys one's 4 and the other is 2 1/2 and have a little girl due in about 10 weeks.... I was hoping to meet new parents so if anyone lives in derby it would be fantastic. My other issue is if you do live in derby do you know of any baby sitters I will have baby in derby but as we will have just moved there adn wont know anyone i will need a baby sitter or someone to care for children when I am in labour..

Has anyone experienced anything like this before? having no family or friends to take you other children while in labour? does the hospital help? I dont want my boys in the labour room and i dont want to be without my husband either?

My sister lives in Derby and she loves it! She's a school teacher there. She'd probably be able to give you a few hints/tips on things to do 9places to avoid etc!) I know she loves the lifestyle up there (but she has no kids).....she may know of baby sitting options too. smile let me know if you want some info and I can get her to email you....where r u moving from?
