Hi all, im new to this site. I am about 10 and 1/2 weeks pregnant with baby number six and trying to connect with others who are in the same place or have been there. Are large families really that rare these days?

My friend stopped at 5, only because she was 41. She says if she was younger, she would have gone for 6th. good luck. rare probably only because people can't afford it. Good luck

No, you're not alone. My sister has 6 kids at the moment, aged 14, 12, 9, 8, 6 and 4. She's planning to go in for #7 as she's still only 37 (she had baby #1 at the age of 23!)
Personally, I also want a large family, with at least 4 children, preferably 5-7 like you! But we've been having difficulty conceiving, and number 2 was a stillborn... we still have our fingers crossed!

No u are not alone, I am new hear. I have just had baby number 6. I have 4 boys aged 12,6,5 and 7 weeks. And 2 girls aged 11and 3.. yeah large family are not as common. But I would not change a thing. I would love to have one more but don't think that will happen.

I'm 14 weeks with a surprise number 6. Things can get hectic, but I wouldn't change a thing

Congratulations... for the 6th time! Would love to have a larger family but don't think I will have the financial ability nor can I stand the thought of that many pregnancies!

Hey guys I'm 37 years old and have 5 beautiful children, I would really love to connect with other families that are in the same boat as me . I have been with my hubby for 14 years and decided that after we had number 5 we were done ,so my husband got a vasectomy now it's 4 yrs later and I am regretting it done. We have decided to get redone and try for number six, I just worry and freak out about how our families will react. I don't know any other large families and always made to feel like there something wrong with having a big family. If you think you can relate or just want to chat I'm here. smile I have 3 girls and 2 boys......
