Young mums in Canberra?

My names Lisa and I have a 7 month old baby girl, I live on the southside(weston) and would love to meet up with some young mums.

I was going to a mothers group that was carried on from the new mums group that is run by midwives. As much as I loved meeting up for coffee and stuff I just felt out of place because I was younger then them.

I have heard of the civic Mums group but have never gone.

If you'd like your more than welcome to come to a playgroup i run in Isabella Plains. Its on Mondays mornings at 10am. The groups gotten quite small lately with mums going back to work, transport issues etc. and its usually just myself and 2 other mums all aged between 22-24. It'd be nice meet someone new smile

I've never been to the civic playgroup. It hard getting parking in civic and we have other commitments on Wednesday anyway.

I'm 20 with a 4month old and would love to meet mums my age too!! I'm new to Canberra also don't have any mum friends & would love to meet some I think we should organize a meet up at the lake around belconnen? (Not sure of the name lol) but its shelted places for kids to place & we can go for walks too

22 here with a 5 month old little boy, living in the Belconnen area also. I've been looking for something like this for a while now, as moved here 4 years ago and have struggled to make friends as well. I found mother's groups here populated by an older bunch of Mums so would really love a younger group of ladies to get to know.

Northside is perfect for me. Ginninderra Lake in Belconnen (as Amandaheming68 mentioned) would be ideal, as it's right next to the mall as well as the strip of fast food/restaurants. Plenty of places to go for a coffee. smile
