North Shore Mothers Group

Hi there,

I have recently moved to NZ from Sydney and I am living in the North Shore, Auckland. I am 29 years old. My husband and I have a little girl who is 4.5 well she is turning 5 in June, and we have our second baby due on the 24th of Feb this year.

I am going to be going to North Shore hospital. Since being back in NZ we have been so busy with finding a house etc and I would love to meet other mums and make some new friends to catch up with.

I am not on the North Shore unfortunately so not overly close, I am in Meadowbank but I am 25 and my husband and I have a little girl who is 6 (she attends Meadowbank Primary School) and I am pregnant with number 2 due end of April (so a few months to go yet) sad Has your second one arrived yet?! Do you know if its a boy or girl?!

I dont have many friends with children, and none who have an older child closeish to my daughters age and then another baby or one on the way...

Hi there I know Meadow bank I used to live in Remuera when I first came to nz. I found the same prob as you I could never find anyone with a first child that was close to my daughters age. Kiara will b starting school in June this year. I had baby number two on the 12th of Feb another girl Chloe she is now two weeks old. It would be great to catch up i know Kiara would love to make new friends too she was born in Sydney so all her friends r there. At the moment she goes to pre school Mon and Tue I am going to try and get her in on Wed as well.

I'm 35 and mum to a 3 1/2 year old boy with our second due in June. I'd love to meet some other mums with children around a similar age. There are some lovely cafes on the Shore that are good for kids if anyone wants to meet for a coffee.

I would love to catch up sometime, I am in Hillcrest in the North Shore. When in June is baby no 2 due? My first daughter was born on the 20th of June. My 2nd she is 2 months old and will be 3 months in a couple of weeks.

Hi Ronell,

I'm in Glenfield so not too far from Hillcrest. Is your eldest going to go to Willow Park when she starts school? Baby no 2 is due June 25th so just getting to the stage where I'm starting to get tired again.
Ben is back at kindy next week Tues-Thurs afternoons so we could catch up on Monday or Friday anytime or Wednesday morning, let me know what suits you.

I am planning on meeting Bex this coming Monday at Glenfield mall, you are more than welcome to join us and your friend too. I have two kids my oldest is turning 5 in June and will start school, my youngest is going to be 3 months in a few weeks.

I am new to the Shore and dont know alot of other mums so I think it would be great for us all to catch up.
