Hi i have a 11 month old baby boy and i am looking for other mothers with babies around the same age to have coffee with or do something with to get out of the house so me and bub can interact with other babies and mothers.

Thats not too far really. Are you part of a group or anything?
I havnt joined any groups or done any thing with other mums with bubs. I should have done when baby was born thinking about it now. I really want some contact with other mums with young bubs I am the only one amongst my friends with a baby so its a bit hard to relate to them regarding babies haha.

Not part of any groups. I had antenatal classes and coffee group when I had dd but that was years ago and I don't talk to any of them any more (they were all at a different stage in life than me and I didn't feel very welcome). I didn't do antenatal classes with ds as I didn't need to but now I have very little contact with people locally with children. I am in the same boat, none of my friends have kids yet so it gets a bit lonely! I have tried play groups a couple of times but the local one is quite cliquey and I went to another kinda nearby but they advertised the time wrong so had to wait in the cold for half an hour and then only one other mother showed up. Lol. Catch with playgroups etc is they always seem to run when ds is having a nap so I can never be bothered mucking up his schedule for it!

How old are you?! Do you drive?! When does your little one nap?! I'm 26 and I can drive... Ds normally has a morning and and afternoon nap unless his sister has too many activities after school meaning he can't have a nap in the arvo. smile

I have just turned 22. Uhm yes i do drive but only on learners (just got that a week ago haha)
He usually goes for a nap about 10.30 in the mornings and in the afternoons usually around 1.30 depending on weather he goes to sleep.

Lol about the learners. Haha. I couldn't handle not driving when I have children. Lol. Have too get out now and then. smile how long does he nap for?! We are generally good for about 3 hours during the day from about 11.30 or there snouts depending on when ds wakes. Also depends what his sister has in the arvo and when she needs picking up from school etc. smile you can email me on broken_anjel@hotmail.com if you like.
