Moving to Oroua Downs Rss

Hi Ladies!!
We are a dairy farming family and are on our way to a farm in Oroua Downs from Christchurch!
Are there any mummies in the surrounding areas? I'm going to be lonely!!
smile
there are heaps of mums/coffee groups in palmerston north - about 25 minute drive away. there are also some great play groups to meet mums, also the church opposite the wharhouse has mainly music on a monday, i used to go and the ladies are so nice. oh and the library has, music/story/craft times on tuesday and Wednesday with loads of mums. te manawa museum also has a thing for little ones. and there is a gym group for babies/toddlers in town. other wise locate the nearest plunket smile im sure you will find loads of new mums to hang out with. good luck.
oroua downs isn't a to bad of a location, it is small but your only a few minutes from the city, and a few minutes from the beach's you have three to pick from within 20 minutes drive of each other. and if your partners into moto x there is a track on taikorea road, which has open days, comps to go watch or he can hire the key to the gate if he has his own bike.
Hi smile

I'm based in Palmerston North, have been here the last 10 years. Went through high school etc.
My DD is 11 months old, and I hold 2 coffee groups smile One is an on-line group, and one is a group where we meet up weekly. Always love having new people join!

If your interested, let me know smile
