I am a 32 year old mum of two - I have a son who is nearly 4 and a daughter who is 13 months. I would love to meet up with Mum's of a similar age with kiddies and who knows we could even start up a coffee group. I moved to Nelson early last year and now my daughter is at a social age I would like to get out there more and meet people roll eyes

Yeah I'm glad we're not there for all the aftershocks! We left the day of the quake and haven't been back since, well my partner has, to sort out our house and all our stuff.

Stoke, just by Birchwood school. So close lol. freezing cold but have no kindling to light the fire na dcan't cut any coz I'm useless lol. Gotta walk to kindy at half 12 too and hoping the rain stops for the 15 mins I need.

Crazy you haven't been back to Chch! I've heard some people have done that though. It doesn't sound like somewhere I'd wanna be either. Then I also know people who are moving there! crazy

Do you know many people in Nelson?

Most my good friends had already moved to Chch and the ones i did have here i lost touch with when i moved. My family is here though. My parents, brothers and grandparents...
I'm keen to meet some new people with kids though!

Sorry just got back on now. I know a few people but not many really. Don't really know how to meet people lol. My mum stays occasionally coz she has a house here but other than that the family I do have here , we don't really keep in touch.
Always keen o meet people.The kids love playing with anyone so it'd be nice to know more people with kids for sure smile
