How'd you go with your fish tank the other week?

Sorry I had been meaning to ask sooner but usually I'm using huggies from my phone and it's annoying trying to write a post on an iphone grin

thats ok

we changed all the water and took out all the rocks and dh's pop moded our filter so now it is working great the water is nice and clear
we are going to get and external filter later on

also do you know how long a baby fish takes to grow?

Oh that's great that you got the water clear, I assumed you already had an external filter lol they are great!

Baby fish actually grow quite quickly (if they survive that is) depending on the other fish they might all get eaten lol but usually within say 6 - 8 weeks you will notice them cruising around the tank more and not hiding so much. Baby fish are so freakin cute!

2 of our fish died last week <img src='http://www.huggies.com.au/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dry.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='<_<' /> Of course they only ever die when DH is away at work, ugh it was so awful trying to scoop them out haha

it isn't fun is it one of our fish just died aswell

and dh got bought some baby fish and some little fish for his birthday last week so we put them in a small tank til they were bigger so i was wondering how long it would take til we could put them in the big tank cause we dont want them to be eaten thats why i asked and yeah they are very cute

and yeah i know it'll be good when we get one but the one we have is working so its ok for now smile

Ahh k, I'd put them in when they are a couple of cms long... Provided you don't have any really big fish in the tank that might think they are food laugh
