glockenpop replied to topic Party bags
thanks ladies, they are all great ideas
glockenpop started new topic Party bags
The bags aren't huge and I'm not keen on filling them up with lollies and chocolate as most of the kids coming are under 2. Anyone got any good suggestions? The only thing I can think of are bubbles!
glockenpop replied to topic 7 month old asleep on her tummy
my DD has been sleeping on her tummy since she was about 4 months old in her cot. She wont sleep any other way
glockenpop replied to topic Getting a bit nervous about feeding with these little fangs baby has suddenly started using
Yep I agree to all of the above. I also used to notice this cheeky look my DD would get in her eye just before she did it. It was usually once she had her full feed and it was near the end when she...
glockenpop replied to topic Anyone else's baby cry on floor before crawling/moving?
I wouldn't be concerned about not crawling yet, but it is a good sign she is swiveling around to get to other toys etc. An hour on the floor is a long time to them, so alternate with other activiti...
glockenpop replied to topic At what age do babies start sitting proped up?
I started basic solids around 4-5 months, and Bumbos work well for this in the early days. My DD didn't go into her chair until she was about 5 months. I started teaching her to sit up on the floor...
glockenpop replied to topic To mums of babies that commando crawled.....
my DD has just turned 10mo and she has been commando crawling for about a month now. I'm not forcing crawling on her, but sometimes I do prop her up on her hands and knees so she's familiar with th...

glockenpop replied to topic 8 month old dropping feeds
I have a 9mo and just recently she is occasionally dropping her mid-arvo feed. So she is down to just 3 BF a day (breakfast/lunch/dinner). I think they just get to an age when they don't need as m...
glockenpop replied to topic When did you introduce Marmite/Vegemite?
why do MIL's do things to infurate us like that sometimes? my DD was 8 months when we gave her some vegemite (was just a couple of weeks ago actually). And yes, it was just a light scraping bec...
glockenpop replied to topic April/May bubs
my girl was born 5th May (I was due 24th April!), so I was 11 days overdue. She came 2 days before I was going to be induced... I think she secretly knew I didn't want to be induced!
glockenpop replied to topic pre made baby food
I don't buy it either, but I know some ladies in my mothers group have bought the Raffertys Garden ones (they also tasted them first too) and said they were really good.
glockenpop replied to topic Baby Yoghurt
Yep I agree with Jalna, my daughter loves the Vanilla and Blueberry one
glockenpop replied to topic 10 month old dropping food onto floor
Ignore it. They are testing you to see how many times you'll pick it up. Its also all part of them learning about cause and effect. They want to know what will happen if they drop something... etc
glockenpop replied to topic What should I feed my 6 month old

hmmm my DD occasionally likes to do the straight leg thing too, but she also does sit most of the time. Do you think her back muscles are strong enough to hold her up? Would it be worth trying a Bu...
glockenpop replied to topic Tizzie Hall and BF....what the?
I was given her book and I tried following it but ended up so confused and stressed. I believe in following the babies cues for feeding and sleeping. Also like was said in an earlier post, you don'...
glockenpop replied to topic losebabyweight.com.au
I've bought some of her shakes, and if you add fruit and oats etc to it like in her video's its filling. I stopped though because I was getting bored with it and they were quite expensive.
