Head Circumference Whats your babies head circumference??

Hi Everyone,

Just wondering what everyone elses bubs head circumference are??

My son is 13 months with 49.5cm head circumference

I think that is quite big for his age and it is way off the chart, he also has talipes/clubfoot not sure if it is common in clubfoot babies too.

well my son is 14 n a half months olds and he was born with a 37cm HC now its approx 45cms-50cm

My DS is 7 months today and his head circumference, measured yesterday, is 48.5cm. Massive!!

I have to take him monthly to have it measured just to make sure there's nothing wrong. Personally, I think he's going to be a tall boy and will grow in to it. DH is 6'2" and my brothers are up to 6'8".

My son's h/c was 49cm at his 12m health check up, which put him in the 97th precentile. The rest of him was pretty big too! LOL

He's now 3 and in about the 110th percentile, but fairly proportioned.

I wouldn't be too concerned, so long as your little man is proportioned well enough. I'd suggest that if his head is off the charts to the rest of him, you might like to ask the Health Nurse about it, to ease your mind.
