hi I have a 16mth old daughter who we all adore. Just lately have noticed she is very clingly. Ill explain while she is with me mum she is okay once grandpa/grandma come home she is attached and wont let go. They arent able to do anything she wants their attention and loves being held. If they need to leave her presence she cries yells and screams. With her father she doesn't seem very clingly is this normal at her age. it is very annoying at times please hlp me, what do i do?

Our DD went through a similar thing at different stages. We spent time analysing our lives, wondering if some-thing was unsettling her but could never come up with any-thing. Soon enough, it passed so we just figure they are normal stages..
All we did, was to make sure we never forced DD to interact with other people. We would make sure she was always introduced to any-one visiting or you talk to when out. I would let DD sit on my lap or next to me, if that is what she wanted, then she would branch out in her own good time.
Good luck, it can be a bit frustrating at times but hopefully it will pass soon.

my 14 month old is the opposite. wen its just me and him hes REALLY clingy, follows me evrywhere and always wants to be hugged. wen others are around hes more interested in them, although its usually family members that he knows well
