First Birthday Jungle Cake

Our little Monkey was turning one, so what better way to celebrate than with a Jungle Safari Cake! Both cakes are chocolate mud cakes with a chocolate ganache filling and covered with fondant. The animals are all made of fondant with the centre animals hiding pillars which hold up the top tier. The palm trees on top are also fondant with trunks of wafer sticks. The monkey faces peeking through the leaves are royal icing.
