FAQ's
Q. When can I submit my idea?
A. Ideas can be submitted between 10:00 15th March 2011 and 22:00 1st May 2011.
Q. How many grants are available?
A. 5 grants of $20,000 each will be awarded. Plus, the general public will be able to vote (via Facebook) on their favourite of the 5 winners. This mumpreneur will receive an additional $10,000. Total prize pool is $110,000.
Q. Do I need to be a member of the Baby Club to submit an idea?
A. Yes, you need to be a ‘Mum-To-Be’ or ‘Baby Club’ member. If you are not a member, you will be prompted to join when you start a submission form.
Q. I want to submit an idea but have forgotten my Huggies Club password, and I can’t sign-up again because I’m already a member under my existing email address.
A. If you have forgotten your password, you can send yourself an email containing your password by clicking on “Forgotten password?” in the Sign In page. If you do not receive this email within a few minutes, please check your “Bulk Mail Folder” or "Spam" folder. Some email programs automatically filter out computer generated emails. Alternatively, you may wish to Contact Huggies for assistance.
Q. Can I save my submission form and return to it at a later date?
A. Yes, your submission will automatically be saved as you progress through the 6 steps. To return to your submission you will need to log-in using your Huggies Baby Club details and access your MumInspired submission form through your ‘MyHuggies’ page.
Please note that once you have submitted your form, you will NOT be able to amend it.
Q. What criteria will my submission be judged against?
A. Your idea should be:
- Original
- Commercially viable
- Nurture the relationship between mother and child
- Designed to make life easier for mother and child
- Suitable for any stage from pregnancy through to the age of 4 years.
Q. What questions are asked on the submission form?

Q. How long does it take to complete the submission form?
A. This will naturally vary depending on your own circumstances and the status of your business or ideA. We would advise to allow at least an hour to complete it. Your form is automatically saved after you complete each step so you can return at a later date or time to complete it.
Q. I’m a Father can I still submit an idea?
A. Yes, all parents, (Dads, Mums and full-time carers) are allowed to submit an idea. You must have a child up to the age of 8years old.
Q. My idea is not nappy or hygiene related, can I still submit it?
A. Yes, we welcome all ideas as long as they fit with the criteria (see above).
Q. My business is already established, can I still apply for a grant to expand the business?
A. Yes. But, your business must not already be operating on a significant commercial scale. The purpose of the MumInspired® Grants is to support mums in the early stages of their business.
Q. I have more than 1 idea, can I make multiple submissions?
A. No, only 1 submission per person will be accepted.
Q. Who will be judging the submissions?
A. The judging panel will consist of Kimberly-Clark employees as well as people with experience of setting-up and running small businesses.
Q. If I am successful and awarded a grant, but do not want my idea to be published on Facebook (for the public voting) can I request this not to happen?
A. It is a condition of the entry that the winning ideas are published on Facebook for voting. If an entrant does not fulfil this requirement we reserve the right to withdraw the grant and award it to the next best entry.
Q. Do I have to tell you what the grant will be spent on?
A. During the submission process you will be asked what you will spend the grant on. In addition, the grant recipients must provide the Huggies team with quarterly updates on their business.
Q. How will I find out if my submission has been successful?
A. If your submission is successful you will be contacted via telephone between 1st May and 23rd May 2011.
Q. Do I need to buy any Huggies products to be able to submit an application?
A. No. You do not have to purchase any product to be able to enter.
Q. I am a New-Zealand resident- can I enter?
A. No. Applications are open only to Australian residents.
Q. Can I fill in a paper submission form instead of completing it online?
A. No, only on-line applications will be accepted. This is to ensure the security of your application.
