Make your own burgers at home with this healthy lamburger recipe. Mix it up by adding your favourite veggies and sauces!
- 500g Lamb mince
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 425g can sliced beetroot
- 1 tomato, sliced
- Shredded lettuce
- Combine mince and egg. Form into 4 patties.
- Cook on a heated barbecue with onions about 2 mins each side until browned then a further 4-5 mins each side on a lower heat.
- Serve on buttered burger buns with onion, beetroot, tomato and lettuce.
- Add your favourite sauce.
Tip: Chill prepared burger patties for about 30 mins to allow them to firm up before cooking.
