I had a little light brown spotting after intercourse and am concerned about miscarriage

Hi Alex,
I`m 5-6 Weeks pregnant and am experiencing period like cramping. I had a little light brown spotting after intercourse yesterday and am concerned about miscarriage. With my 1st pregnancy I miscarried early Feb`09 and am terrified of it happening again. I feel blessed to have conceived both pregnancies first time but scared to go down the miscarrying path again... Is this normal or is it cause for concern???

Answer: Hi Simone,
Any bleeding in pregnancy is regarded as abnormal so you should have a check up. It may be nothing so try not to worry too much. You have the same chances of miscarrying this time as last time and it is still risky in the early weeks.
