What is pregestational hemoraging, and is this dangerous?

My niece had a scan which came back saying there was pregestational hemoraging. What is this and is this dangerous?

Answer: Hi,
This means that there is bleeding before gestation. It may be the start of a miscarriage but it is not a definite sign of problems.
