Hi Alex,
I am six weeks pregnant. Last week i was suffering general cramps, not bad though. This week I suffering a dull ache in the right side right on my hip, and pressure in the rectum. (i feel like i need to go to the toilet or pass wind all the time) Is this normal? Is it a sign of ectopic pregnancy. I have had no discharge and the symptoms come and go. I see my doctor on Wednesday. Should I be worried?

Hi Skye,
Thank you for your enquiry. Cramping and odd aches are very normal in early pregnancy as is increased wind. If you are not bleeding and the cramps are not strong then everything should be fine. You experience severe abdominal pain when you have an ectopic pregnancy.
