I’m 8 weeks pregnant and struggling with food, I feel sick 24/7 and no matter what I eat it doesn’t settle my stomach. I’m not physically throwing up but my stomach feels in knots from the moment I wake up till I go to sleep. I’ve tried ginger and crackers etc but nothing works. I’m drinking heaps of fluids, mainly water, and eating 5-6 small meals every day but it’s now starting to cause problems in my job etc. What can I do to settle my stomach? I want to enjoy food not want to throw it up as soon as it hits my stomach.
Unfortunately this can happen at times during pregnancy. Hopefully it will settle soon. It does sound as if you are trying most remedies and this is very common that it feels as if nothing works. After 12 weeks you should start to gradually feel better.
