Answer: Hi There, you don`t mention how much formula or milk your toddler may be on and if this has affected her growth at all. This can sometimes be a pivotal point. Often little ones can fill up on liquids, which displace food. If this is the case I would recommend a good early childhood consultant, they can help you with ways to amend this situation and ensure food features predominantly in her diet. You can generally find them in the yellow pages in your area. Just talk on the phone first and see if they have good experience in this area. Failing that, if liquid intake isn`t an issue, I would recommend a feeding expert to have a look at the possible factors. There can be many reasons why a toddler doesn`t progress through the foods. You could start with Plunket (NZ) or Tresillian (Australia), see link below. Or if you wanted more specialised help you could visit a paediatric speech pathologist, they can check the oral mechanics of your toddlers mouth and at least rule out any issues there. Lastly, you could talk to someone at a feeding clinic, there are not many about, below are two links: Aussie: www.nofussfeeding.com.au NZ: www.paediatricfeedingdisordersclinic.co.nz/index.htm Tresillian resources – routines etc: http://www.cs.nsw.gov.au/tresillian/resources.htm I hope this puts on you track to enlist some good help, it can be very stressful if your little one doesn`t eat well, so getting help can reduce that. All the best, Leanne
