Answer: Hi There, There`s good reason for your confusion. In developed countries we have long been avoiding allergy foods, and sadly the allergy rates have risen. Developing countries have shown different trends, so, guidelines are about to change in regards to the common allergy forming foods. For example, gluten, where once it was thought best to delay it till later in the first year, it is now believed that such foods should be offered earlier. So yes, it should be fine, give it a little trial and see how you go. I have to confess I still take a gradual approach and start with gluten-free options for a week or so and then work up to wheat and so on (breads, noodles, pasta). Hope that clarifies things. All the best, Leanne
