At what age should I stop giving my baby a bottle of milk?

Hi i would just like to know at what age should i stop giving my baby a bottle of milk? during the day and of a night time? And when should they come off the bottle altogether?
Thanks.

Answer: Hi There, You can offer baby drinks in a sipper cup from 6 months on, which does tend to help with oral issues as well as reduce the time that their teeth are bathed in milk sugars. So often by 12 months bottles can be done away with. In terms of weaning baby from formula you can do so from 12 months onwards, assuming baby is on a full, healthy and varied diet. You can opt to offer baby cows` milk or milk alternatives that are calcium-enriched as part of their diet, say a cup a day along with other calcium foods such as cheese and yoghurt. All the best, Leanne
