With such a small room for the nursery, it was difficult to put all the ‘essentials’ in. So the change table is a combined chest of drawers, and the bookshelf is a combined desk. There are some traditional touches, Winnie the Pooh cot mobile and wall stickers, a lovely transport quilt and matching nappy bag and canvas. There are some home made (money saving) touches, with a sesame street mobile made from coat hangers and fishing wire. There are also some funky retro colorful touches – the ducks always get the attention of children and adults alike. With the feeding recliner, it is the perfect cosy retreat, with everything at arms length. It is great for a babies room down one end, while the ‘shift-worker-dad’ sleeps down the other. It will also be easy to convert to a toddler room down the track.
