We wanted something neutral so we choose a Winnie the Pooh theme. We didn’t want to mark the walls so we made our own personalised canvased.
We had one feature wall too match the theme and also when we decide to redecorate should match most designs.
Most furniture are hand me down family heirlooms Samuel sleeps in a cot his Gramdpa made which Daddy sleep in when he was a baby. The cot still has the teeth marks baby made :-)
Great Grandpa has already made a wooden table and chair which matches the one he made for Samuels Daddy. If you have the resources I find pieces with personal touches not only are cheaper options but are also much more special for us and our little boy.
