I knew i wanted a special sanctuary for my little princess but we were renting at the time so it also needed to not make an impact on the bedroom structure. My mum and i selected a shabby chic material that was close to our heart as Tara’s middle name is Rose after her great grandmother and this material has stunning pink roses on it. Mum and i made up some block out curtains, matching cushions, toy box pillow and i mounted some fabric in some lovely white frames. For every little girl needs loads of storage for cute clothes so although we couldnt build anything we found some change table storage and under cot storage. My husbands friend reapolsted an old wingback chair that we found on ebay for 99cents and I went to secondhand book stores to find a range of childrens books that are kept on her bookshelf. We sit in the feeding chair together each night and read while admiring the unique, beautiful and relaxed room that also represents my little girl!
