Being my first child and a girl!
I knew I wanted a super girly room that was whimsical and pretty. Butterflys were an obvious theme for that.
Not wanting to “over do the pink” we painted one feature wall in a super cotton candy pink, the white skirting, furniture and curtains broke the pink up so it wasn’t too much and we choose a fluffy white rug to cosy up the dark floorboards.
I used some left over matching pink raw silk to cover some square cavases and glued some paper butterflys onto them and arranged in a way to look like they were flying off the canvases. Butterflys were from spotlight.
For the feature wall I painted a white tree and then with wall stickers decorated it so it looked like the butterflys were flying around and out of the room!
