This bedroom was originally stripped back to nothing and renovated completely to include new windows for more natural light, and extra insulation to save on heating/ cooling costs.
Since it is for our two young daughters, we went for playful images of birds, butterflies, owls etc in pinks, purples, reds, blues and greens to give it an overall ‘nature’ theme with a girly twist. These images were done using wall decals so that as the girls grow older and leave behind their ‘kid’ phase, we can just remove the decals without having to repaint the whole room completely with a more mature palette.
Storage tubs and an open bookshelf set at their height allows them to access their toys whenever they like, while providing excellent, aesthetic storage at the same time.
All the furniture came second hand, and the beds were done up especially for them.
