This room was the “empty room” in our house, which we had plans of turning into many different things…. that was of course before our little girl came along.
As little miss Audrey was growing, we found ourselves drowning in toys and thought it would be a good idea to turn the “empty room” into a playroom.
The plan was to create a bright, bold, fun space, with plenty of storage (which could be easily accessed by our toddler).
It is the most used space in our house as Audrey spends much of the day playing with her kitchen, dolls, musical instruments, building blocks, drawing reading, dancing and sometimes watching her favourite Giggle and Hoot and Wiggles DVDs. She also sits at her dining table to eat breakfast and lunch most days.
We have also put a large couch in their so Mum and Dad can sit down and keep Audrey company and watch her play, when their not playing along with her.
Audrey loves her Funky playroom and so do her cousins and friends when they come over to play!
