During the day she wont settle unless I am nursing her

Hello Maree,
I have a four month old girl,Abby. She sleeps well at night, waking only once at around 3 or 4 am for a feed, but during the day she wont settle unless I am nursing her and as soon as I go to put her down in her cot or pram she wakes and is very cranky. Also when she is being held she will sleep for hours if i have the time to sit. Abby will sleep if I lay down with her during the day but not if she sleeps alone. I need to get things done as i have a three year old that needs attention as well. Can you please help?

Maree...
Answer: Hi, This is Abby`s sleep association and unless you change things nothing will change. I highly recommend you follow our It`s Time To Sleep settling program to teach baby to sleep independently. It is all hands on and no leaving baby at this age it may take a week or two but everyone will be much happier in the end. I would also recommend you incorporate a feed/play/sleep routine so you can know the tired signs and act on then straight away. You can get details for our It`s Time To Sleep settling program from Your Baby`s Sleep or www.itstimetosleep.com Cheers, Maree
