Should I be dropping this sleep, feeding him a bit earlier and putting him to bed earlier?

Hi, I am having trouble settling my 3 and a half month old son for his late afternoon sleep. He`s usually up at about 7am and has his first bottle at 7.30. I put him down for a sleep at about 9am and then he`s up between 11 and 11.30 for his next bottle. He goes down again at about 1pm and then has a long sleep. I like to feed him again at 3.30 but sometimes he`s still asleep and I wake him at 4 for his bottle. He then has a bath at about 5.30 and then I put him down for a nap at about 6pm before his final feed at 7.30. He then sleeps from about 8.30pm until about 7am. I always put him in his cot awake and he usually drops off to sleep quite easily. Except for the 6pm nap. He doesn`t seem to want to sleep at this time anymore. He often cries for 20 minutes and eventually falls asleep and then needs to be woken for his last feed. Should I be dropping this sleep, feeding him a bit earlier and putting him to bed earlier? Or should I be waking him earlier from his previous sleep so that he is more tired for his late afternoon nap?
Thanks
Karls

Answer: Hi Karls, I wouldn`t encourage that 6pm nap instead I would be making his final feed around 6.30pm have a bit of a play and then down for the night. You are very lucky he is sleeping so well at night. Cheers, Maree
