He wakes about 3 to 4 hours after settling

Hi there, need some help... Little fella 8 months old has justed started solids was a perfect little 12hr sleeper from 4mths old to 71/2mths old. Fully breastfed prior to this and still is but is having 3 solid meals a day plus a few snacks and breastfeeds.

Hard to settle at night and I have watched the video and put into practice and this works but Cameron wakes about 3 to 4 hours after settling and I have fed him upon waking as I have 3 other children, he then re-settles fine but continues in this pattern. Your help and or suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks

Maree...
Answer: Hi, From about 6 months he should be able to sleep 7pm to 7am without an overnight feed. It sounds like he is getting plenty to eat so I think this may be a habit rather than hunger. If you want to change this you need to stop offering the overnight feed and resettle instead. He is probably experiencing 8 months separation anxiety at present and this won`t be helping. Cheers, Maree
