At what stage during labour should I start making a move for the hospital?
I'm hoping to stay at home as long as possible during labour before I have to go to hospital
Answer: Hi, If this is your first baby and you live relatively close to the hospital (under 30 mins), you can stay at home for a long time and not make your way to the hospital until you feel pressure or an urge to push. You can always contact the maternity unit by phone for advice and so that they know that you will be coming in. Best wishes, Alex.
