I was induced with my first two pregnancies
with my son I was induced at 38 weeks when my water broke and I had no signs of contractions, as I developed pre-eclampsia I was induced with pitocin the next day, with my daughter I was induced at 41 weeks this time my water was broken at the hospital though again my contractions did not start until I was given pitocin. hubby and I are planning our third child and I would like to know the chances of going into labour without being induced?
You do have an increased chance of needing assistance with your next birth. However this is not definite. To increase your chances of going into labour naturally you need to be really sure of your dates and the length of your cycle so that your due date is as accurate as possible. This will give your body plenty of time to go in to labour naturally.
