Babies Due March 2012 Lock Rss

Well ladies, it doesn't look too good. Have been told it's highly possible that I will miscarry over the next few days. sad
Bub has a heartbeat but an extremely weak heartbeat. Apparently they couldn't see where the bleeding was coming from and don't reckon it's anything to do with bubs, possibly from the cervix? No cramping. But have lost a few pregnancy symptoms lately.

Am still hanging on to the tiny tiny tiny bit of hope. But have been given all the instructions on what to do when I miscarry. Hoping to prove them wrong.

Take care ladies
Sarah

Sarah I really hope your baby holds on. If you don't mind me asking what was the heart rate? Did the baby measure right for dates?

Thanks guys smile Reading your posts made me feel a bit better smile

Measuring spot on for my dating scan. Was measuring 7w 0d on tuesday, measuring 7w 3d today. But the heartrate was only 42bpm which is extremely low. Last pregnancy I did have problems with an anterior placenta and a tilted uterus, so maybe playing a part?

My midwife phoned me this evening as a specialist had looked at my scan results and the specialist had said for me to go straight to hospital. My midwife said it was up to me but didnt think I needed to go to hospital as there is nothing they can do at the moment. I will be having another scan tuesday/wednesday next week to see if bubs is still growing, so guess I will have a definate answer then.

Til then I'll be holding my head up high. I believe in fate, so if it's meant to be, it's meant to be. If not, it's natures way of telling me something was wrong. smile

Hey everyone!
IM PREGNANT!
Bub number one!
Due 24th March
So exciting grin
Hello everyone,

My name is Alicia and I have just found out we are pregnant with bub #3 after our first month of TTC. My EDD is 25th March. I have had 2 blood tests already and I was happy to see my HCG levels rising as they should be.

Hope to get to know you all a lot better over the coming months.

Take care
Alicia xo

Hey Ladies,

I haven't been on for a little bit. Just reading through all the post. I'm so sorry Sarah. I have everything crossed that everything is OK with bub. Welcome to all the new mum's to-be.

Well I have been pretty sick still. Last Wednesday I had to get DH to come home as I couldn't even keep anything down. I find if I have a muesli bar first thing when I get up in the morning I don't feel as bad sickness wise. Everything else seems to be going good. I have annoying little cramps every now and then or if I over do it with vaccuming then mopping straight afterwards. DS1 is really good. If I tell him that Mummy feels sick he will give me a big hug and say 'let's watch a movie so you can rest'. DS2 will also watch the movie too. It's hard to explain to DS2 what is happening as he is only 18months. I'm off for my first lot of bloods in 2 weeks and then for a scan at 13-14 weeks. I have been feeling wet lately (sorry for TMI) like I'm about to bleed but it's just a lot of mucus. I had a dream last night that I had to have an emergency c-section as I started bleeding at full term and then they delivered 2 healthy twin girls when I only thought we were having one big girl. I told DH this morning and he was like 'OK well I guess we will find out soon enough'.

Hope evryone else is going good.

Hi there, I was just reading over your post and noticed you said you are getting a little bit of cramping, I have been having the exact same thing, I know that its normal but I still stress a little bit. I have been feeling really ill but more at night time than in the morning. I had the exact same thing with my last 2.

I used my last HPT this morning and I got 2 lines instantly and the test line is darker than the control line! So im taking that as a positive sign to.

Sarah, Im so sorry to hear that you are having a few issues, I really hope that everything goes ok for you. I will be keeping you in my thoughts.

Take Care everyone smile

I'm interested that everyone seems to be having dating scans. I don't know if this is a standard thing in NZ - are there NZ ladies having dating scans or is it more an Oz thing??? I never had one with DS and there's been no mention of it this time..... would never say no to the chance to see bub! smile

I am in OZ, I was never offered one with DD but this time 2 different doctors mentioned having one- I am happy to have a scan early because I had 2 close friends recently have ectopic pregnancies (that were not discovered until the 12 week scan) and one had a missed miscarriage early on. It will put my mind at ease to see the heartbeat as well smile
Sarah - I am so sorry to hear your news but hope that you and your little bean can prove them wrong...I'm also a believer that it's natures way of telling us that something is wrong but it doesn't make it any easier at all.

We didn't have a scan with DD unitl 20wks - my cycle was spot on and we chose not to have the nuchal scan so we waited - I'm hoping this time cause I had my little bleed in Brisbane and we had an early scan with just an sac visible (only 4-5wks) that I'll be able to have another one - will see doc on Thursday for the first time and see what she says....maybe some bloods too.

Welcome to all the new March mummys!! congratulations to you on your wonderful news!!

Proud mum - I've had exactly the same of late - feels horrible and have started wearing liners but I know it's just another thing my body is doing cause I'm pregnant.

I'm still hungry all the time and breasts are sooooo sore and I've popped out!!! cant believe it but DH and I see a definate difference in my tummy - think the second time round my body knows how to be pregnant as the first time I waited for ever for a tummy - hoping I can hide it from co-workers until 12wks or at least until we find out everything is a-ok.

Have a quesiton for those who are having #2 or #3 - what are you doing about a pram - we need to get a new one that will accomodate our DD who will be 2 1/2yrs old when this one is born - what are your plans and what do you recommend - Thinking Phil&Teds

Firstly Sarah - thinking of you and wishing you all the best smile

MarniT - I hear you popping out already! This is only my first baby and im already popping out too! Have not even put a whole kg on (yet) but my whole shape has changed! Usually have a flat tummy so am already wearing loose fitting clothes to hide my tummy till 12 weeks! Also very hard to hide as I am a nurse and the smallest things are nearly making me vomit when i normally have a strong stomach! Everyone at work is already asking if im alright because i don't look/seem the same! 4 weeks to go smile
Hi MarniT,

I am pregnant with #3 but my DD is 4 so wont be needing a double pram but when I had DD my DS wasnt even 2, so we bought the phil and teds it was unreal! I love it! So easy to push and fold up. Up until recently we have still been using it. We went to the Sydney Royal Easter show back in April and we used it for my almost 4 year old and my 5 year old! So you will get a lot of use out of it!

Hope that helps
Alicia smile

Hi there lovely mummies to be,

I am so excited to join you. I am just past 5 weeks pregnant with EDD 24th March 2012.

This is my first BFP after a verrrrrrrry long hard journey on IVF. Until I hold my precious bub in my arms, I am sure I will continue to be terrified and feel that this isn't real!

Here's to us all having an extremely healthy and fruitful 9 months xxx

I won't be changing prams- I will use our Meit-tai or ergo carrier for the new bub and keeping DD (who will be 2 years 2 months when bub is here) in the pram or walking.
