Babies Due March 2012 Lock Rss

Oooh Congrats! You bubs shares my dds birthday, a great day to be born! grin

Hello all,
Well if you all thought you joined late, you're not as late as me! I'm due on the 3rd March (tomorrow!) but haven't experienced any signs of labour yet. My mum was 10 days overdue with me and my brother so I'm expecting something similar. We were trying for two years to conceive a child so I don't mind waiting a little longer.
Congratulations to those of you who have already had your babies!
Sleep hasn't been easy for me this week, so thought I'd pass the time on the huggies website!
Looking forward to chatting again soon. grin

Baby Lachlan born march 1st,n 6:18pm wa time. Weighing 9ib9.5oz, intense labour....came in at 6cm got in bath and before u know it he was out in like 30-45mins ........extremely intense as he is a big bubz ...glad he came early he could have gotten bigger than this!! Dd was born past dd weighing 8ib2oz big difference.

No drugs not even gas or panadol lol.

Congratulations to those babies that have already entered the world.

Skyla Rose born Monday 27th February at 12.10am 8lb 2oz 51cm 3hrs 15 min labour. Was home the same day and she's so easy going and relaxed barely cries.
Congrats to the mums who've had bubs! I've been so slack at checking my Huggies page - normally on FB!!

Welcome new members - hopefully not long to go for you!

To the non-fb users on here - we welcomed a little girl, Mia Elisabeth (baby sister to DS and DD, aged 4 and 2) on 13th February at 12:05 pm. She was 2885 grams (6 lb 7 oz) - not bad for 3 weeks early! My waters broke a day and a half earlier and I was admitted to hosp and put on antibiotics, the next morning I was induced and she was born just over 2 hours later - so all very fast!! No stitches too. yay!

She's now 3 weeks old and doing great - we spent a week in hospital as she was very jaundiced and had ABO syndrome (my blood type and her blood type didn't match and caused a few little issues when she was born). But we were discharged after 8 days and now at home and she's thriving. She's also back up to birth weight and feeding really well. Her siblings love her!

Very sleep deprived but loving every minute of being a mummy-of-3!

Looking forward to hearing everyone else's stories soon!

Hi Ladies
Long time reader not much time to post with 2 kids and night job..
I'm due march 19 and finally finished work last week , now playing the waiting game lol hit 38 weeks tomorrow, having some very long nights of painful BH similar to what I had with Dd (almost 3) ended up getting induced with her at 41 + 5 Soooo not hoping for that again, although her birth was not bad I really don't want to go over again lol
My ds was born the day after my edd so fingers xd I get some middle ground this time!!

Can one of you ladies add me or direct me to your fb group as I'd love to join smile (my name is Kirsty Hanslow)
anyone else got painful BH? Worse with each child? I am worried as I had similar with dd and labour just never kicked off even induction took 18hrs..exhausting to say the least the 3 weeks leading up were so long sad

Congrats to all you ladies on your march bubs and can't wait to chat more

Hello,
I have been reading this for awhile now, I'm due with number 2 on 25th March, having a girl. 37wks at the mo. I have a DS who will be 3yrs on 17th March, he was born at 36+6 so at least I am past that mark this time.
I am a kiwi living in Moranbah, QLD. Been here since end of Oct last year and have to go 2 1/2hrs drive to Mackay to give birth. So bubs better co-operate smile

Can someone please add me to the fb group(my name is Verity Simonsen)

Congrats to all that have already had your bubs.
So I was due on 8th March and still waiting for her to arrive 7 days over now. Went for a scan yesterday and everything all good, but I am freaking out about the size she is now. I was told she is 9lbs give or take 10%!

Both my other 2 children were late, my son was 3 weeks late and weighed in at 8lb and 8oz and my daughter was 11 days late weighed in at 7lb 11oz.

So although I am carrying a lot smaller, she is massive, even though I have been told throughout this pregnancy she is a small baby...

Oh god I am really worried about the labour now, I ahve heard stories that big babies means you can get ripped real bad...

What to do??? Need advice as I am getting myself in a right state. If I go another week over, she could be more like a 10lb baby??
Gosh chippy I don't know that I would cope with that either... I'm not due for another 2 weeks and struggling to cope let alone being overdue & worrying about size! I don't know if its any comfort... but whatever happens baby WILL come out. More often than not those scans are inaccurate for measuring size, and if you are still carrying small that can't be a bad thing.

Congrats to all the mummies who've had their babies.... I can't wait to join you!

You poor thing, hope bub has now arrived and docs are wrong about size all the time too....

I'm due Monday & have had a horribly long week of painful braxton hicks that turn into nothing after staying regular for hours...my 2nd was induced at 41+4 I so hope its not the case this time sad

I am now 5 days over <img src='https://www.huggies.com.au/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dry.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='<_<' />
I've also been lucky enough to have been contracting every 10mins since saturday morning (yay).

DS was born on his due date, so I wasn't expecting to go over this time, especially with some of my complications.

I had a check up this morning to find that I am 3cm dialated, so it hasn't entirely been a wasted week.
Had an S&S. First one I've ever had and well, that was awful.
I actually cried from the pain and I don't intend on ever having one of those done again. sad
With DS I was already admitted to hosp at 2cm and well and truely in pain by 4cm, so in a way this is a somewhat slightly better experience than then.

Congrats to all the new mummas and goodluck to those still waiting!

Hi, I hope you don't mind me contacting via this post. I did try to PM you but it wouldn't let me. I've been searching the huggies forum and I came across your thread mentioning that you are currently living in Moranbah. We are moving to Moranbah in about 4 weeks to Moranbah and I am a little stressed. I suppose I was hoping to pick your brain about living in Moranbah and what it is like with kiddies? I have 2 boys, 22mths and almost 4 yo (in June). is there much to do with kids of this age? Eg - sports (like Soccer Tots), swimming lessons, kindergym etc etc? We are moving from Karratha so used to a small town but there wasn't much to do with really little ones there. Anyway, hope you didn't mind this, hope to hear from you soon, Kelly.
