pull apart sandwiches Rss

hi,

I was just wondering if there are any other toddlers out there that pull apart the bread and only eat the filling in the sandwhich. It doesn't matter what i put on them, this is what dd does (14 MTHS). She is even starting to do this with toast- just licking the spread off. I sometimes now just hand her the filling on her tray, but then I thought she will never learn to eat the whole sandwich.

Any other toddlers doing this? and when will they start to eat the whole sandwich bread and all together? Could it be the fact she doen't like the bread?(wholemeal)

Any ideas to enc her to eat it all?

Thanks
My DD is 16 months old and pulls apart her sandwhiches too but she still eats it all she just wants a bit in each hand.

Maybe she doesn't like the bread. Try switching to a different type.
I got my daughter to eat sandwiches by switching to white bread.
I buy the low GI /high fibre one.
I know wholemeal is better for them but really, it isn't the end of the world if they eat white bread!!!
