I think that the letter that you have written is fine, however I'd be more inclined to make a phone call, and explain it all over the phone. I think that in this situation it appears that the sales person should have - but didn't - have the correct knowledge, and you could explain this better over the phone. This way, you may know the outcome straight away, whereas with a letter you may never hear back from them. Just my thoughts Michelle

For so many people, sverer allergies to food are life threatening. If it means taking a little more time and care in what is put into a child's lunch - then I don't see what the problem is. 100% supportive of the schools approach.
Katey, I would love a copy of the booklet, if you'd be happy to send it. I am the director of a preschool, and we are resonably strict - no nuts, chips, water only etc. The way I see it is that these children need to be attentive, have concentration, and be able to cope with a busy day. Our 5.5hr days at preschool are very busy and there is plenty of time for all of the other kinds of foods at home. Part of our role as educators is to promote healthy eating habits and good food choices just as it is to teach road and traffic safety. Michelle
Amanda, check out Educational Experience, Judius, Modern Teaaching Aids - just google for their website. These are our main suppliers at work, and they *may* have them. I only saw them recently at a party, how cool is it!! The host had borrowed it from their local toy library - so perhaps contact yours - they may have one?? Michelle
My hands up. I am completing failing on all counts.
I am so very sorry that you are going through this awful time xx
Morning, I am wondering if you have spoken to the service yet, and what their response was?
Jess, I can see that you have cancelled your membership. Please remember that there are plenty, plenty or shoulders to cry on, and ears that will listen should you ever want to come back. Often strangers can be the best listeners. We are all hear for you. God bless Jess xxx Little Angels When God calls little children to dwell with Him above. We mortals sometimes question the wisdom of His love. for no heartache compares with the death of one small child, who does so much to make our world seem wonderful and mild. Perhaps God tires of calling the aged to His fold. So He picks a rosebud before it can grow old. God knows how much we need them and so He takes but few, to make the land of Heaven more beautiful to view. Believing this is difficult still somehow me must try. The saddest word mankind know will always be "Goodbye". So when a child departs we who are left behind, must realize God loves children, Angels are hard to find. ~Author Unknown
Jess, I am not sure what to say... Thank you for sharing Luke's story with us. You are very brave. It sounds like the day you had with Luke at the park was magical - keep that close to you heart. ohhh, my words are nothing. Remember that there is always someone here that is ready to listen xx
I have to say that I agree - I am trying desperately to relax more, and to let things go. There has been so much sadness lately (here and in my RL), and it does tend to make you realise what is important. You are right....life is too short. Good on you for taking a stand...I am sure you are much better of without that user.
