A Saturday morning breakfast becomes the silliest meal of the day with these kooky cakes!
Who says pancakes always have to be round? Break the breakfast rules by helping your child cook up misshaped pancakes. Prepare pancake batter and transfer it to a pouring jug. Melt a knob of butter in a heated skillet. Help your child pour or spoon the batter to make a drip design, being careful not to let arms touch the pan. Or, have her pick out a few cookie cutters. Carefully place them on the griddle. Fill them with batter. Once they start bubbling, remove the cookie cutters and flip the cakes over to cook the other side.
