Skill for Bub: just for fun, making memories

This is a fun craft activity that mums and kids can do together (or you can prepare the clay and then let the kids amuse themselves painting it!)

Clay frog

Use modelling clay to create a frog-shaped sculpture. Once you have constructed the shape of the frog, allow it to dry. Then, let the children paint it.

They can use beads or buttons for the eyes, red paint for the tongue, and green/brown for the body. You can also add other details, such as painted eyelashes or lipstick. Cut a lily pad out of green felt for each frog to sit on.
