Valentines Day heart

What you’ll need:

  • 1 cup flour
  • cotton string
  • water
  • red food colouring
  • foil (baking foil)

Method:
Mix water with flour in mixing bowl until you get a glue-like consistency, then add red food colouring to get the desired color of pink or red.

Continue mixing until the color is evenly distributed through the mixture. Cut about 2 metres of sting and soak in glue mixture.

Place foil on baking sheet. Also cut a length of foil to fold over and over again (about 2-3cm wide.) Then take this piece and shape a heart on top of cookie sheet. Using your fingers, remove string from glue and shake off excess glue. Lay the string in your heart mould and bake in oven at 100 Celcius for about an hour. Remove from mould and voilà!
