Week 8 of 12WBT. Focus on the finish line.
So this week I measured up only to find I have lost 35cm since I started 12WBT. THIRTY FIVE centimetres. I feel very proud of that. I’ve lost 5kg as well which is a pretty steady effort
The fitness test showed that I have moved up another level which means I am having to work harder to burn calories and get my heart rate up. This has raised an interesting question for me.
I am not sure if I am the only one that struggles with the calorie burning. I notice lots of people especially on the Super Saturday Sessions burning over a 1000 calories. I have to admit, I set that as a mini milestone in week 4 for myself and it took A LOT, A LOT of exercise to burn that much. And I was completely shattered the next day as well.
I don’t know if I just need to get fitter to make that easier, or if it is always going to be something I find hard to do. But I have set that as my mini milestone goal for Week 12 as well. I figure it will be a great way to round out the programme.
So four weeks to go, and I am going to keep dropping the weight and the centimetres. I’m also sticking like glue to the menu programme having lost a little focus on that in the past week or so cough, cough
If you’re doing 12WBT another great motivation tool for me anyway, is reading other bloggers charting their progress on the 12WBT. You should check out Courtney’s blog for sure.
And I will definitely be signing up for round 2 in February next year. How about you?
